Craigslist.org is THE best site ever. I love Craigslist. I am so glad Craigslist is around, it's a free community bulletin board.

I have found more obscure job opportunities through craigslist than anywhere else. So far I have gotten all my painting jobs out here in Utah through craigslist, and I just got another call a couple days ago. The guy owns a business and wants me to paint some stuff in the windows. At least that is what I got from Aaron's relayed message to me, and the short conversation with the guy arranging for a meeting at his store. I'll find out more Monday when I go there.

I've figured out a plan for getting a season pass at Alta for almost half price, without having to work there this year. A season pass costs $999, but I will be getting one for $550. Since my roommate Dan will be in his third year working there, he is now able to get a buddy pass for almost half price. I plan on buying it off of him. And Katie will be able to get a college discounted pass for even less than that. And Aaron will be working up there this winter too, so we'll all be set. I'll be getting in at LEAST 3 full days of skiing every week this winter. I can't wait. Plus Dan and Aaron automatically get an apartment up there this winter, so I plan on driving up there the night before my weekends so I won't have to deal with the morning traffic of people driving up the canyon. I'll be able to get out on the slopes as soon as the chairlifts open. It will suck to not live with Aaron for the winter, but oh well, we will have a place to stay up there on the weekends so it works out.

This season I plan on accomplishing a 180, and then a 360. It seems easy enough. I can take little jumps pretty well, and can ski backwards. Now I just need to combine the two. Put a little spin in the middle and land backwards. Then once I have that down and know how much to twist my body just so, I can try to perfect a 360. Ooohhh. I can't wait.
It would be sweet if I learn those quickly and do some harder stuff later on in the season. We'll have to see.

I have determined that I am now a skier for life. If I ever move away from the mountains, I will have to go somewhere at least once or twice a year to ski.
